Located in the newly renovated Union Market in Northeast Washington DC, and rated by Zagat, as one of "16 food artisans you need to know from around the US," Bazaar Spices is a unique locally-run gourmet spice shop. Our extensive small-batch, over 300 and growing, hand-picked collection of the freshest, highest quality spices, herbs, botanicals, rice, flours, and lentils are sourced from around the world and, whenever possible, from local growers.
We offer a friendly learning environment that encourages our customers not only to ask questions but also to share their knowledge, with the goal of building a destination for Washingtonians who want to explore culinary and healing traditions in their own kitchens and homes.
